Brian Raduenz

Brian Raduenz

Chief Executive Officer

Brian Raduenz is the Chief Executive Officer at Merlin Global Services, and has held the position since September 2014. Prior to this time, he was the Senior Vice President, Programs and Business Development and has been with the company since 2008.

Prior to joining Merlin, Brian served in the US Air Force as a Flight Test Engineer and Program Manager supporting a variety of manned and unmanned aircraft acquisition programs. During two tours in Washington DC, Brian served in the Pentagon with oversight of Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) budgets, and as Director of the White House Military Office for Presidential Contingency Programs under President George W. Bush. During his last 10 years in the US Air Force, he was heavily involved in government oversight of the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper RPA production, development, and sustainment activities.

Brian received his Air Force Commission and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the US Air Force Academy. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science Degree in Military Studies from Air University.

Paul Kuttner

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Lake is a versatile executive with extensive financial, operational and strategic management experience as CFO/COO and VP Corporate Development/M&A while serving in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Industries include: Aerospace & Defense, Software, M2M/Predictive Analytics, Cybersecurity, Public Safety & Security, Wireless Communications.

Most recently, Mr. Lake was a Managing Director with Shoreline Partners, LLC and held key positions as VP of Corporate Development/M&A and EVP of Operations for Kratos Defense & Security Solutions (Nasdaq: KTOS), a National Security technology company. Kratos' diverse businesses include satellite communication systems, electronic warfare, unmanned systems, missile defense, network management software, cybersecurity, and critical infrastructure security. In his roles at Kratos, Mr. Lake had responsibility for company-wide corporate development and M&A in support of five operating divisions.

Mr. Lake serves as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the San Diego Chapter of the Aerospace & Defense Forum.

Mr. Lake received his B.S. in Business Administration from San Diego State University and resides in San Diego, California

Paul Kuttner

Paul Kuttner

Vice President of International Business

Dr. Paul Kuttner is the Vice President of International Business at Merlin Global Services and has over 35 years of experience as a senior executive in aerospace and IT.

Prior to joining Merlin, Paul managed large P&L organizations, and has a proven track record in business development and capture management. Paul began his career as a software engineer and worked on electronic warfare and radar systems. He has managed large, complex software and systems integration programs and is also an experienced IT manager. Paul has managed large IT programs providing IT as-a-service to the Intelligence Community.

Paul has worked for a number of large and small defense companies including TRW, Raytheon, CSC, and BAH. Paul has a Ph.D. from Harvard and a B.A. from UCSD.

Wayne Miller

Wayne Miller

Vice President, Contracts

Wayne Miller is Vice President, Contracts for Merlin Global Services. As a member of the Executive Management Team, he manages all contractual and purchasing activities. He is intimately involved with many of the day to day operations of the company, from daily guidance to company managers, contract/sub-contract management, proposal submittal, and ITAR compliance.

Wayne has more than 20 years of Contracts and Purchasing experience. Prior to joining Merlin in 2009, he held increasingly responsible positions at UTC Aerospace Systems (Hamilton Sundstrand) and Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. While at Sikorsky, he was the Contract Administrator responsible for MH-60S Helicopter sales to the U.S Navy.

Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of New Hampshire.


Jeremy Watrous

Senior Director of Programs

Jeremy Watrous is Senior Director of Programs at Merlin Global Services. Jeremy manages the programs team and oversees all Merlin employees supporting operations.

Prior to joining Merlin, Jeremy served in the United States Marine Corps as an Imagery Analyst / Imagery Chief, where he specialized in the advanced analysis of synthetic aperture radar and fusion of other intelligence disciplines.

Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in project management from National University. He also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI).


Michael Lock

Director, Programs

Michael Lock is Director of Programs at Merlin Global Services, responsible for running current programs and managing A&AS and Maintenance personnel for the company since he joined in March 2009.

Prior to joining Merlin, Mike served in the US Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer and Program Manager supporting a variety of manned and unmanned aircraft and programs. During his tenure as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, he managed maintenance on multiple platforms to include the KC-135, F-15C, and the MQ-1 Predator. While serving as the Predator/Reaper Branch Chief at Air Combat Command, Mike managed all Logistics required to stand up Combat Air Patrols.

Mike received his Air Force Commission from the University of Louisville ROTC Det 295. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Indiana University Southeast and a Master of Science Degree in Public Administration from Oklahoma University.


Filippo Grosoli

Chief of Flight Operations

Filippo Grosoli is Chief of Flight Operations at Merlin Global Services. Filippo manages all flight operations and oversees our deployed pilots and sensor operators.

Prior to joining Merlin, Filippo served in the Italian Air Force for 21 years, flying multiple platforms ranging from F-104 and F-16 to MQ-1 and MQ-9. He has commanded MQ-1 squadrons across multiple deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. From 2010 to 2013, Filippo was the Italian Senior National Representative at Holloman AFB for MQ-1 and MQ-9 training programs and a fully qualified IP/EP for the US Air Force on both Launch and Recovery, and Mission Execution.

Filippo received his Air Force Commission and Masters in Aeronautical Science from the Italian Air Force Academy and a Masters of Science Degree in Military Studies from the Italian Air College.
