Merlin employs some of the finest flight operations professionals in the industry. We currently have employees supporting manned and unmanned flight operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Merlin experts support all MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper flight test activities managed by the UAS Program Office at Wright Patterson AFB, OH, and the detached Operating Locations at NAS China Lake, CA, and Grey Butte, CA.

Merlin engineers advise all aspects of the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper UAS programs from cradle to grave, to include a variety of flight safety and risk-related assessments. Our engineers and program managers helped establish and currently participate in the UAS System Safety Working Group (SSWG), and make recommendations for developmental upgrades to reduce system safety risk, and effectively correct known system anomalies.

Our maintenance personnel include airframe & propulsion (A&P) licensed mechanics and avionics specialists who manage many aspects of the depot repair and field reporting processes. They administer Field Incident Reports from multiple OCONUS and CONUS locations, and recommend disposition of Aviation Repair Activities (ARA) and Specialized Repair Activities (SRA).



Merlin retains a cadre of aircrew trainers and support staff that support various manned and unmanned programs at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Our employees are involved with all facets or training to include courseware development, classroom instruction, ground training and flight training at both training and operational flying squadrons.



Merlin provides logistical management support to various programs. Our personnel support multiple OCONUS locations and ensure that critical materials are available and provided to operational users when required.



Merlin employs technical writers and graphics artists who support the management and writing of Technical Orders and Flight Manuals.
